Simple reflections about a dream I had last night. Not one to usually remember my dreams, I was surprised when I awoke, touched by the poignancy of it all. It was the everyday world, the everyday people, in my everyday life. But everyone wore a small mirror on their clothes, over their heart. Loved ones saw that they were, quite literally, held in each other’s hearts. Even strangers were reminded that anyone could make an impression on the only organ that’s the beat to life’s song, the only organ that’s said to break. So real it seemed, the capacity to affect someone’s feelings, for better or worse.
